Tour of UCONN
Athletic Facilities
 
Join CPA and the staff of UCONN Athletics  for a discussion and tour of several UCONN Sports Facilities. Discussion will include an overview of the construction and a tour of the new $40 million basketball training facility and Werth Family UConn Basketball Champions Center. The center is 75,000-plus square-foot building features complete facilities for the men's and women's championship basketball programs. The center includes common areas designed for academic support, sports medicine and strength training, along with separate practice gyms, locker rooms, coaches' offices, meeting rooms and video analysis facilities.
 
We will also tour, The Harry O. Gampel Pavilion and highlight its newest roof reconstruction project along with a  tour and review of the Mark R. Shenkman Training Center which hosts the football program and features a 120-yard long state-of-the-art FieldTurf playing surface, an 18,000 square foot strength and conditioning area, and state-of-the-art video capabilities, the indoor training center provides UConn's football team with the most technologically advanced training equipment.

Parking is available inside the South Garage located near the Gampel Pavilion.  There is a $2.00 per hour fee to park.

We will meet inside the Natatorium Entrance (Entrance near Gampel Pavilion and the large Husky statute) for coffee hour.  We will also have lunch there around 12:00 or 12:30 PM, after the Tour of the UCONN Facilities is complete.
