2024 Applications are now being taken - Due Date is April 19, 2024
Dennis Malone was a past president of the Connecticut Parks Association and founder of the scholarship program. The scholarship serves to perpetuate his memory by providing financial support to future professionals who display potential for this profession. The awards are open to applicants who are high school graduating seniors planning to attend an accredited two or four year college and pursue a career in park management, forestry, horticulture, agronomy, or a closely related field. Scholarships may be awarded up to $1,000, depending on the number of recipients. Selection for the awards is based on financial need, academic achievement, and involvement in activities related to the intended course of study.
